The BCC made a submission to the ACT Legislative Assembly’s Inquiry into the procurement and delivery of MyWay+.
As a representative body for the residents, students, and businesses of the Belconnen district, we gathered community feedback on the rollout of MyWay+, including a survey that received over 170 responses. Our submission highlights the real impacts felt by our community during the delivery of this project.
Rather than focusing solely on how MyWay+ can be improved – an issue well-documented in media reports and public feedback on Transport Canberra’s social media platforms – this submission emphasises the broader importance of examining how this project was delivered. By learning from these challenges, future projects can avoid similar issues and ensure a smoother transition for the public.
