New bus and light rail network starts on April 29 2019

New bus and light rail network starts on April 29

Transport Canberra will be introducing a new public transport network on Monday 29 April 2019. There are major changes to the Belconnen area bus routes, and all Belconnen passengers should familiarise themselves with the changes that can be found here.

Coinciding with the Network launch and with the commencement of light rail, Transport Canberra are providing a month of free public transport travel on bus or light rail.

Routes and timetables will change with the introduction of light rail and more buses, more often, 7 days a week.

Belconnen will receive one extra rapid bus from Fraser, and this now connects to the Airport. Sunday and Public Holiday services will now operate until at least 10PM.

Please check this website to see how your journey may change.

A map of the new Belconnen network is available here.
